What's really gratifying is when wedding guests approach us to say how much they enjoy the music we play and how much better we are than the average "cookie cutter" wedding bands they've seen. That's probably because we are music fanatics, not robots! We love to play the great dance rock songs we all grew up with, and we play them with all the feeling and attention to detail they deserve. People say that we look like we're having a good time when we play....well, that;s because we ARE having a good time when we play. We love to play, and love to make people dance and have fun. Are THE ROCKAHOLICS really a Long Island Dance Party Band?

A young couple stopped us as we were walking down the street the other day, asking whether we are a NY and Long Island Dance Party Band.  "Well of course we are!", we all answered in unison, "We are one of the best Long Island Dance Party groups around! We also are one of NYC and Connecticut's favorite Rock and Roll Party bands around!".  "We play all kinds of danceable rock music on Long Island, NYC, AND Connecticut. Heck, we'll even go to JERSEY for cryin' out loud!".  "We also play Rock and Roll Weddings!", we said. "When people want something different for their wedding, something other than the usual tired disco dj music, they call us!" "We play Wedding Dance Rock music for people that like to rock out at their weddings".  "We are L.I.'s favorite dance rock wedding bands".  "As a matter of fact", we told them, "We are also NYC's favorite rock and roll dance party wedding bands".  Well, after we told them all that, they quietly told  us they were, in fact, getting divorced; and since they were ending their marriage amicably, they wanted to have a "divorce party".  Again we answered in unison, "Well, that's kinda weird, but maybe no weirder than that Bris we played at a few months ago.  "Yeah, okay...we'll play at your divorce party...no problem".   Who knows, maybe they'll have so much fun together at their divorce party, that they'll get married all over again...and we could be the NY dance rock wedding band that they should have had the first time around!
